My husband had originally wanted to visit Bastogne but we heard the experience was a bit touristy and over-hyped. We opted instead to visit the Military History museum in Diekirch, Luxembourg. I know next to nothing about "military" "things" so I wasn't that excited about the museum but it was very interesting. I imagine you could spend hours studying the extensive collection of both American and German general military equipment, uniforms and accoutrement's, weapons, vehicles and artillery, ammunition, rations, medical, communication- and engineer equipment, personal soldier’s belongings and numerous original still photographs.
When we stopped for gas we drove past this vineyard, they were harvesting and selling the grapes by the side of the road. We bought a huge bag for just a few euros. They were delicious but had seeds. I don't really know how to eat grapes with seeds. They also had a much thicker skin than the green table grapes we eat here in the US and they were just a bit smaller too.
