Birthday Time

Every year, twice a year, I try to convince my children that they don’t want to have a birthday party.  There is nothing I dread more than planning a party, even the easy one that you have at a venue like ChuckECheese.  This year I avoided the party by convincing "J" that having a friend join her at Six Flags was a better option.  She invited her best friend from across the street and it was a fantastic day.

BF had never ridden a roller coaster or anything other than a carnival type ride...

She loved the log ride so we convinced her to try something a little more extreme.

We had our fingers crossed for a daredevil and we weren't disappointed.

BF loved all the rides, the roller coasters (even with loops) and the spinning rides too.

No trip to Six Flags is complete with out Dippin Dots.

They loved the multiple inversion coasters too.

BF, did you like the spinning wheel of death?  "It was awesome"

We ended our visit with a water ride.

After Six Flags we came home for some cake (this is supposed to resemble our cat)

Ah...the cat's on fire.

"T" opted for birthday donuts since he has decided he doesn't care for cake.
