June...and I'm caught up!

We ended May and began June with the Girl Scout Trip to Savannah
to see the home of Juliet Gordon Low.

The camp is in the middle of actual nowhere.

The girls had a lot of fun.

We had a few summer swim meets to fit in-between all our travels.

Then we were on our way to Virginia Beach via grandma and grandpas.

We always have to stop for ice cream.
 Or hot fudge cake

Always new art at moms place

After using moms place as a hotel we arrived at the beach.  But this year was a bonus...we got to stay with friends and family for a fun filled week.

Uncle "D" was looking great.  We hadn't seen him in forever.

We had a fun family day at Busch Gardens.

FUNNEL CAKE!

We visited lots of interesting places along the beach.

Then home again and a swim team silly photo

And we were headed back to grandmas again for Great Grandma's birthday.
This time Cleo came along.

Here is our 4 generation photo from 2004/5 and 2016

After the party we went jumping.
  Grandpa LOVED it.

And we came home to ripe blueberries.

This summer is flying by.  More swim meets and water parks and before you know it school will be starting again.

Maybe May

So let's see what happened in May.

"J" joined her team again with an all clear from the doctor and they made it to the final play-off game.  They were an amazing group of young ladies.

The Girl Scouts bridged to Cadets

Then the girls raised some money for their big Savannah Trip.

Next the girls were recognized by the Board of Commissioners for their volunteer work

"J" finally got to canter at horse riding lessons.

"T" decided to start working out.

And the pool opened.

...and I finally got a shower.
