Egg Hunt

Today was the annual Green family egg hunt-the one where mom and dad stand around in their pajamas in the front yard and half heartedly watch the children run around hunting eggs in the grass. The secret to a successful egg hunt is to fill the eggs with candy that the kids don't like, that way the children get the fun of the hunt and the adults get to eat the candy.

Some Guys Have all the Luck

"D's" most recent "work" trip was to Italy and France. I put work in quotations because while "D" swears his trip was all business, I have seen the photos and "drunken executives" is the most accurate descriptor that comes to mind. Even if there was lots of "work" on this trip there ALSO was lots of fine dining and some site seeing. As I always say "a supplier conference in Florence beats a supplier conference in Atlanta any day."

I love this photo of the Coliseum with the buses and vendors right outside. Oddly it resembles the Braves Stadium on game day...which oddly enough brings the whole thing to life for me. Baseball, gladiators killing Christians...we are all really pretty much the same

Yikes look at the crowds. I guess everyone should visit Europe in the dead of winter like we did if you want to avoid the unwashed (yet comfortably warm) masses. And nothing says ancient Rome like the jumbo-tron behind the fountain.

"D" doesn't know why he rubbed this boar so I went on-line to find out. What I found was a photo of every tourist who ever visited this open market in Florence rubbing the nose of this boar and finally I learned that if you rub the boars nose you will be lucky enough to return to Florence.

I'll admit I took photos of the toilets in Germany so I understand why "D" took this photo of a toilet in Italy. What I dont understand is why the toilet is actaully square.
