Photo Shoot

Summer Camp

Summer Swim League meets are fun.  Fun for the kids.  Not fun for the volunteer coordinator.  But I tell you...that 25 dollar gift card makes it all worthwhile (NOT)

Water Park time with friends.  Ask me when I will take 5 kids to the water park again...just ask me. NEVER that's when

This pretty blue lasted until she got in the pool

Camp Time.  "J" ready for another fun week at Girl Scout Camp

Apparently it's not just my kids who only want to do silly poses.

She was so excited to trot this year.

And finally we picked her up.  It was so exciting to head home...

Glad I avoided the Road Rage Queen.

but right after we got on the interstate this happened.  When people stat milling around OUTSIDE their cars it's never a good sign.

Tractor Trailer roll over----frozen chicken everywhere.  All lanes blocked for three hours.  FUN!

Beach Trip 2015

Even though I am slow to catch up I will get all our photos posted..  I make this blog primarily for myself as a nice family photo album, Secondarily I make this for our extended family so they can see what the kids are up to...but I also make this for DFACS (known to some as CPS).  So when some pissed off neighbor calls Child Services or I get arrested for letting my kids play in the front yard alone...I have some record proving I am a fit, if not sarcastic and tired, parent.

I fear our beach trips may become a thing of the past.  The kids are getting older and they want to do things with FRIENDS.  I love our vacations when school is in session because we avoid my nemesis...crowds.  But in the future we may have to mix things up and go during school breaks so we can bring friends along.

Miraculously the kids got a long great during the entire trip (something that rarely happens for an entire day).  We had great weather and no one was attacked by a shark.

And back to my favorite beach activity. As a parent you reach milestones-just as children do.  The day you have no more diapers in your house, the day you put chemicals back under the sink and my favorite-the day you don't have to get in the pool anymore to keep your children from drowning.

Do you see this beach.  This is why I love our beach trips...

TThis gorgeous guy had school bus colored feet.
