Family Day

I LOVE Family Day. Every year "D's" employeer has an awesome Family Day for employees. This year the event was held at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. His company is a corporate sponsor for the special exhibit The First Emperor, China’s Terracotta Army so we were able to see this exhibit and enjoy face-painting, crafts, clowns and a really attentive magician who stayed at out table for a very long time. The kids had a blast. What excited me the most was how much the kids enjoyed the museum. I took them see the modern art galleries and there was a definite WOW factor. It is always special when you can share something you love with your children-it is even better when they enjoy it too.

As much ice cream as you can eat

Green Thumb

We are getting ready for spring. "J" helped me plant basil seeds harvested from last years garden. We also planted a few squash and zucchini. We usually plant our garden with plants from the nursery vs. seeds. Our safe planting date is April 15th (tax day). Hope these little guys are ready by then. In weeks to come we will show our progress.

Dressed For Dinner

Rarely are my children dressed in "normal" clothes. They prefer full costume. Here is "J" at dinner-dining princess style.
