Blumen Garden

All around Germany you can find Blumen Gardens which are roadside honor system flower gardens. You pullover, grab a knife or scissors, cut the flowers you want and leave your money in a can.  In the fall there are pumpkin versions as well. "J" thought this was amazing. I wanted her to have the opportunity to cut her own flowers. In retrospect I should have suggested we go on a less muddy day-but this garden had the most stunning sunflowers. By the time we left Germany there were very few flowers left in the Blumnen Gardens....the experience was worth cleaning the mud off her shoes.
