Yes, more water park...

So the neighbors' nanny thought it be fun to dress up and go to Chick-Fil-A day. If you dress up like a cow you get free food. Big crowds, long lines, I'd much rather just pay for my food. But how can you say no to these faces.

More Summer Fun

I am really tired of hauling these huge heavy floats.

So I decided to cool off in the lazy river. It is neither lazy nor a river...but it beats sitting on dry land.

Catching frogs...it's what summer is all about (if you are "J")

4th of July...this year required a change of venue. It was very stressful for us to change our tradition but we survived.

Summer Fun

I really love summer. I even like the heat. Granted I try to avoid going outside unless there is water involved...but still... there is so much fun stuff to do in the summer. As soon as we get back from the beach it's summer swim team season. And of course many epic days at the amusement park and waterpark.

The new waterpark opened this summer. It doesn't have much, but we had to go three times before the kids realized it.

Summer swim meets are more fun than the "real" ones during the school year. More friends more snacks etc.

Pet number 8 comes to live with us...and she is the best behaved least difficult pet we have.

Fast food and swimming with friends...what's not to like

So many sleepovers this summer....so much sitting around and playing video games...such a mess in my playroom.

"J" found this very outgoing tortoise in the street. He hung out with us for a few days before going down to the creek to live.

They're back...those blue berry stealing fiends...I saw this one in the neighbors yard...they found they berries and pears and apples a few days later.
